Built to withstand tough use
Engineered to withstand real-world impacts, Bambu PLA Tough+ delivers ABS-level durability and up to 2x stronger layer adhesion than standard PLA. It withstands bumps, drops, and knocks, making it ideal for RC cars, model airplanes, and durable tools.

Designed for repeated bending, Bambu PLA Tough+ lasts longer than standard PLA, where it would normally fail. It's perfect for prints that need to be able to bend without breaking – like springs, clips and connectors.

With improved durability, Bambu PLA Tough+ maintains its properties over time, extending the lifespan of prints made with standard PLA and making it suitable for demanding, tool-ready applications. Use it for model airplanes, RC cars, and parts that need to withstand impact and repeated bending.

Printing tips

Due to the higher printing temperature, PLA Tough+ has a slightly stronger, but not pungent, odor than regular PLA during melting. If necessary, the printing temperature can be lowered or good ventilation can be ensured.

Due to the high layer strength of Bambu PLA Tough+, it is recommended to use dedicated support filaments (Bambu Support for PLA or Bambu Support for PLA/PETG) as support boundary material for easier removal and a cleaner end result.
