350°C Hotend & 65°C Chamber Heating
Unlock the full potential of high-performance materials

Equipped with 65°C active chamber heating and a high-temperature hotend reaching up to 350°C, the H2D delivers precise closed-loop temperature control. This advanced system effectively eliminates shrinkage and warping in high-performance materials, ensures superior layer bonding, and maximizes the full potential of materials.

True High-Flow Hotend*
Print consistently at 600 mm/s without issues

The H2D’s specially designed high-flow hotend ensures reliable high-speed printing at 600 mm/s. Developed for stable performance, it eliminates flow limitations during printing, allowing for uninterrupted high-speed prints regardless of print size or complexity.*

DynaSense Extruder
Intelligent sensor technology for precise extrusion control

Bambu Lab’s proprietary PMSM servo architecture creates an intelligent system for extrusion control. It performs 20 kHz torque/resistance measurements and position sampling to dynamically adjust electromagnetic torque vectors. This stabilizes extrusion and detects filament wear and clogs.

A smarter and safer experience

Nozzle Camera
Monitor extrusion at the nozzle tip

The H2D is equipped with an AI-assisted nozzle camera with a macro lens. This intelligent monitoring system continuously tracks extrusion patterns and immediately detects material buildup, filament deviations, and extrusion errors.

AI-powered Pre-flight Checklist
Peace of mind every time you print

Before each print cycle, the H2D's vision system initiates a comprehensive pre-flight checklist:

  • Chamber Integrity Scan – Detects debris and particles across the print surface.

  • Hardware Configuration Review – Instantly identifies nozzle dimensions and build plate properties.

  • Digital-Physical Alignment – Automatically verifies alignment between detected hardware specifications and active slicer settings.

State-of-the-Art Filament Monitoring

15 sensors on one filament path

Unlike older single-detector filament runout systems, the H2D features comprehensive material flow monitoring. Along the entire AMS-to-nozzle path, 15 strategically placed sensors form an intelligent network that continuously monitors five key parameters: feed rate, filament tension, filament tip position, extruder thermal environment, and dynamic extrusion pressure. This creates an industry-leading system for controlling filament behavior.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can the H2D be upgraded to the H2D Laser Edition?

The H2D Laser Full Combo features a built-in air pump and air hose at the back of the printer and is pre-installed with a BirdsEye camera. The front door, left and right laser safety windows, and top cover are all designed with laser safety in mind. The package list includes a laser module, a cutting module, a smoke extraction hose with adapter, and an emergency stop button.

We plan to launch a laser upgrade kit for the H2D without a laser. The upgrade kit is expected to be released in Q3 and will also include installation videos to help users complete the upgrade seamlessly.

It is important to note that the air pump in the upgrade kit is an external pump, which has a different installation structure than the built-in pump in the full combo kit. It can only be mounted externally and connected to the machine via an air hose.

Upgrading the non-laser H2D to the H2D Laser Edition via the upgrade kit will maintain identical product features and performance as the H2D Laser Edition.

2. Are the left and right hotends completely identical?
Yes, the left and right hotends have identical structure and materials and can be used interchangeably.

3. What is the maximum number of AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT units the H2D supports? How many colors can it print at most?
As the H2D is a dual-hotend printer, and in the most extreme case all AMS units can be connected to one hotend while the other hotend uses an external spool holder, it can support up to 25 colors.

4. Is the H2D compatible with the first generation of AMS?
The first generation of AMS is fully plug-and-play compatible and can be used with H2D for multi-color printing, but it does not support the AMS drying function.
Due to fundamental differences in feeding mechanism and buffer structure, the H2D does not support AMS Lite.

5. The AMS 2 Pro connects directly to the printer via the 6-pin ports – what are the two 4-pin ports on the back of the printer used for?
The two 4-pin ports on the back are reserved for future expansion accessories. For example, one of these ports can be used to connect an external air pump when a non-laser version of the printer is upgraded to the laser version.

6. Can I use the A1 series hotend on the H2D? Conversely, can H2D hotends be used on A1 printers?
Although the H2D hotend structurally resembles the A1 hotend, it is not entirely identical.
H2D hotends are specifically designed for the H2D printer and provide optimized compatibility. For example, they support higher maximum volumetric flow, lower risk of clogging, more precise nozzle offset calibration between the left and right hotends, and automatic hotend recognition via the live camera.

To ensure optimal print quality, it is strongly recommended not to use A1 hotends on H2D printers.

It is possible to purchase additional H2D hotends for use on A1 printers, but you must also use the H2D hotend's silicone sock.

7. What are the differences between the 10W and 40W laser modules? How should I choose?

Both the 10W and 40W laser modules are blue light lasers that support processing a range of materials, including wood, rubber, sheet metal, leather, dark acrylic, and stone. However, due to differences in power and size, there are the following distinctions:

  1. Maximum cutting depth (for Basswood plywood):

  • 10W laser: 5 mm

  • 40W laser: 10 mm

  1. Maximum engraving speed (for Basswood plywood):

  • 10W laser: 400 mm/s

  • 40W laser: 1000 mm/s

  1. Processing area:

  • 10W laser: Max area X310 mm × Y270 mm, max height 280 mm

  • 40W laser: Max area X310 mm × Y250 mm, max height 265 mm

The choice depends on your needs: for faster cutting, engraving on thicker materials, or higher production speed, the 40W module is best; for lesser demands and economical operation, the 10W module might suffice.

8. Is a USB included as standard? Which functions are affected without USB?

The package does not include a standard USB flash drive. You can still start printing normally without a USB, as the printer has built-in storage for running print files.

However, without a USB, the following functions will be affected:

  1. The recording and timelapse functions cannot be activated;

  2. Printing cannot be started via LAN;

  3. Print files cannot be sent to the machine for storage through Bambu Studio;

  4. Log files cannot be exported.

USB requirements:

  • USB 2.0 protocol or higher (the actual minimum write speed must be above 10 MB/s)

  • Supported file systems: FAT32 and exFAT

  • The printer only supports one USB access at a time and cannot connect multiple USB devices via a USB hub.

9. Why can't I freely select the hotend for printing with the printer's built-in files?
The hotend to be used for printing is already determined when the model file is sliced. For the built-in models, the right hotend has been selected during the slicing process, so it is not possible to change which hotend is used for printing directly on the printer screen.

When you slice the file in Bambu Studio and send the print job, you can freely choose to use the left or right hotend. For certain filaments, such as TPU and PPS/PPA-CF, it is recommended to use specific hotends for printing.

For more details on H2D filament printing, see Wiki.

10. Will smoke and dust from laser operations affect the printer's precision and lifespan?
The H2D is equipped with an efficient exhaust system, which effectively removes smoke and dust from laser work, significantly reducing contamination. During R&D, we have conducted thorough tests which show that with regular cleaning, smoke and dust have minimal impact on precision and performance. For detailed cleaning instructions, see Wiki.

11. How can I improve the success rate and quality of TPU prints?
Due to the flexible nature of TPU filaments, challenges may arise during feeding and printing. To facilitate TPU printing, we have created a dedicated guide in the Wiki. Simply follow the instructions to achieve successful TPU prints.

12. Are there special safety precautions when using the laser function?
Laser processing uses high-energy lasers on potentially flammable materials, so we strongly recommend that users do not leave the machine unattended during laser operations. Ensure constant monitoring of the machine's status and remove all flammable or explosive materials from the surroundings. For further information, see Wiki.
