FAQ

Is this material food safe?

Unfortunately, we have no data to confirm whether this material is food safe. Currently, there are no 3D printing materials on the market that are FDA-approved as food safe.
This is because it is the finished object itself that needs to be certified – not the base material. Shape, circuit board, environment and much more are included in the process to obtain a food safety certification.
Currently, the FDA does not offer any real certification for 3D printing.

Is this material AMS compliant?

Yes! All Polymaker coils now have reinforced edges that work perfectly in AMS.

Do you sell refills?

We're sorry, but Polymaker does not sell refills at this time.

Is this material recyclable?

Unfortunately, there is no good solution for recycling PLA at the moment. Our cardboard spools are biodegradable, but PLA still cannot be recycled in an efficient way.

Can I mix effects in a single HueForge print?

Yes, this material can be mixed and matched with all other Panchroma effects – except those listed as "experimental".
