Important Information - K1 Series CFS Upgrade Compatibility

The K1 series CFS upgrade is only compatible with K1 models equipped with the integrated Unicorn hotend.

Please note that this upgrade kit is not compatible with older versions of the hotend. If the user wishes to install the CFS upgrade on an older K1 unit, both the hotend and heatsink must be upgraded to the Unicorn version.

Compatibility details

• All K1 series machines shipped after 2024 will have the Unicorn hotend pre-installed and are fully compatible with the CFS upgrade.
• Machines shipped before 2024 must be upgraded to the Unicorn hotend to use this kit.

How to check your machine's production date

You can find out when your machine was delivered by checking the serial number (SN). See the reference image below for guidance.
