SUNLU FilaDryer SP2 is a modular, dual-function filament drying and storage system designed for both hobbyists and professionals. With a closed chamber that can hold up to two 1kg spools or one 3kg spool, it ensures effective moisture control and saves space.

It is a revolution in filament handling. Its two-part, modular design combines 3D filament drying and 3D filament storage. Modular and space-saving design

The SP2's unique “one base, multiple chambers” system allows up to three drying chambers to be stacked vertically – perfect for print farms or multi-printer environments, maximizing capacity while minimizing space requirements.

PS: SP2 can also be used as a standalone storage box.
They can be freely stacked (it is recommended to stack up to 3) to improve space utilization.

It is equipped with a carrying handle and a recess in the bottom for easy moving. The storage box has a separate hygrometer for real-time humidity measurement, as well as 3 cable exit holes on each side to accommodate printing needs for different filament sizes.

Fast and precise humidity control

With a reliable heating system that reaches 70°C in approximately 15 minutes, the SP2 effectively dries common filaments such as PLA, PETG, TPU and ABS. Tests show that it can reduce the moisture content of PETG from 0.6% to 0.2% in just four hours – approximately 30% faster than the competition.

Closed, smart and quiet

The airtight chamber uses silicone seals and a triple safety system (200W PTC heater, fan, temperature switch) for safe operation. A built-in hygrometer provides direct feedback on humidity, and the unit operates quietly at approximately 59 dB.

Dual function

In addition to drying filament, the SP2 also functions as a premium storage box. It can accommodate various spool configurations and can be used independently. Ergonomic handles make it easy to transport, and cable outlets make it convenient in various setups.

The SP2 FilaDryer takes full account of user safety.

The triple safety design with 200W PTC + fan heating, secondary temperature protection switch and intelligent software-controlled temperature control ensures that the heating process is completely safe.

SP2 has excellent compatibility with most universal filaments on the market. Its working temperature range is 35°C–70°C. It can be used with 99% of common filaments and some functional filaments such as: PLA, PLA+, PETG, ABS, TPU, PVA, PVB, ASA, PA/PC and others.
