Prusament Mystic: Printing Tips
With Prusament Mystic, it's up to you to choose how glossy and saturated the surface should be!
CHANGE NOZZLE TEMPERATURE
The optical properties change rapidly between 210–230 °C. The higher the temperature you use, the glossier the surface will be.

CHANGE THE LAYER HEIGHT
As you increase the layer height, the color becomes more vibrant. Best results are achieved by using a larger nozzle and layer heights above 0.3 mm.

VARY THE VIEWPOINT
Change the viewing angle and see how polychromatic stripes move across the model.

About PLA
PLA is the easiest material to print with. It is inexpensive and suitable for both beginners and advanced users. It can be used to print detailed models, figures and rapid prototypes that do not require increased mechanical, chemical or temperature resistance.
PLA is the most widely used filament and is known for its beautiful appearance and easy printability. It is an excellent choice for large parts due to its low thermal expansion, which results in minimal warping. At the same time, its low melting temperature makes it suitable for small parts.
While PLA is not as strong or durable as some more advanced materials, its versatility makes it ideal for many applications, including large workpieces, miniatures, concept models, and prototypes that do not need to be extremely durable.

Notes
This PLA is manufactured in-house by Prusa Polymers.
1.75 mm filament is manufactured with a precision of ± 0.02 mm (± 0.03 mm for blends).
Before printing, make sure the surface of the heated bed is clean, as described in the 3D Printing Handbook .
Please follow the instructions in our article for drying the filament.
What can you expect?
Prusament PLA is Prusa's own in-house manufactured filament. The entire manufacturing process is closely monitored and tested – we guarantee a precision of ±0.02 mm (±0.03 mm for blends) and very consistent colors. Prusament extrusion line
Produced in-house by Josef Prusa
Prusai were not satisfied with the quality of the filaments available on the market. So we decided to make our own! Prusa Research is the only 3D printer manufacturer with its own filament production.
Prusament polymer granules
Premium quality materials and thorough testing
The entire manufacturing process is closely monitored and tested – filament diameter, color consistency, and mechanical properties – to ensure that every spool is perfect.

±0.02 mm guaranteed production precision
Prusa believes that the industry standard of 0.05 mm is not sufficient for perfect 3D printing. Therefore, we instead guarantee a precision of ±0.02 mm (±0.03 mm for mixtures) and very consistent colors in our filaments.
