Printing Guide – Flexible and Rigid Filaments (Rigid and Flexible)

1. Speed ​​recommendations

• Direct extrusion (Near-end):

  • With retraction: up to 50 mm/s

  • Without retraction: up to 60 mm/s

• Bowden extrusion (Distal):

  • Without "pumping back": up to 20 mm/s

  • Max. 30 mm/s without retraction

2. Slicer settings

• Do you want high flexibility and softness:

  • Do not use any infill and keep the wall thickness between 0.8 mm and 1.2 mm for the best result.

• Do you want more elasticity and structure (stiffness):

  • Use infill of 5–15% and set the wall thickness to ≥ 1.2 mm for increased stability.

3. Adjustment for larger prints
Flexible filaments have slower curing times. For larger models, you can gradually increase the print speed up to 10 mm/s , depending on the model size.

4. Limitations of flexible materials

• Not suitable for hollow models or models with large overhangs as the material does not support these structures effectively.

• Not suitable for tall models , as top structures can cause nozzle notches and instability , which can lead to print failures.
