E3D ObXidian™ High Flow HotEnd for Bambu Lab A1 / A1 Mini
The High Flow ObXidian™ HotEnd is a premium upgrade developed in collaboration between E3D and Bambu Lab. It is engineered for wear resistance, high-speed reliability, and easy installation, allowing you to confidently print even the most abrasive filaments. With up to 70% higher flow than Bambu Lab's standard HotEnd, it delivers stronger prints, smoother surfaces, and faster printing without compromising quality. Available in 0.4mm and 0.6mm.
Key Features
- Up to 70% higher flow than the standard HotEnd
- Exceptional wear resistance with E3DLC™ coating
- Prevents plastic buildup for cleaner prints
- Maintains strength and finish even at high speed
- Easy drop-in installation without modifications
- Officially approved by Bambu Lab
Designed for speed and reliability
Thanks to the redesigned internal geometry, the High Flow ObXidian™ HotEnd increases volumetric flow rate by up to 70%. This means more consistent extrusion and the freedom to increase print speed while maintaining quality and reliability.
Built to last
The ObXidian™ nozzle features E3D’s advanced E3DLC™ coating, making it several orders of magnitude harder than conventional steel nozzles. This ensures exceptional durability, even when printing with abrasive filaments such as carbon fiber or glass fiber-filled materials. No nozzle lasts forever under extreme use, but ObXidian significantly extends its lifespan compared to hardened steel.
Cleaner prints, less maintenance
The non-stick coating reduces plastic buildup on the nozzle and minimizes the risk of print failures and cosmetic flaws. Less cleaning means you can focus more on printing.
Easy to upgrade
Installation is quick and tool-free thanks to the magnetic design. Simply remove your existing HotEnd, drop in the new one, and you’re ready to go. No hardware changes or adjustments are necessary.
Official collaboration
Developed in collaboration with Bambu Lab, fully approved and compatible with A1 and A1 Mini printers. Not compatible with the Bambu Lab H2 series.
