Print electrically insulating, flame-retardant parts with Fiberon™ PPS-GF20

Designed for engineers who demand the best in heat resistance, dimensional stability, and dielectric insulation. This glass fiber-reinforced PPS filament is ideal for high-performance applications in electronics, aerospace, and industrial environments.

Insulation where it matters most

Fiberon™ PPS-GF20 offers 6.05 kV/mm dielectric strength and a low dielectric constant (2.71 @ 1MHz), making it perfect for electrical enclosures, ADAS sensor housings, and structural components in 5G base stations.

Built to withstand extreme heat

Engineered to maintain structural integrity at temperatures up to 236.3°C (HDT @ 0.45 MPa after annealing). Suitable for high-temperature enclosures, hot air equipment, and under-the-hood applications.

Glass fiber reinforced for strength

With 20% glass fiber reinforcement, PPS-GF20 delivers exceptional stiffness and strength—up to 4552 MPa Young’s modulus and 102 MPa flexural strength (XY). Ideal for brackets, antenna mounts, and chemically exposed parts.

Flame retardant & chemical resistant

UL94 V0 certified at 1.5 mm and resistant to acids, bases, oils, and solvents. A reliable choice for mission-critical environments such as chemical laboratories, manufacturing floors, and automotive housings.

Precise, reliable, print-ready

Supports high-speed printing up to 250 mm/s with minimal warping and stable Z-axis strength. A hardened steel nozzle is recommended. Available in neutral gray for reduced heat absorption and flexibility in post-processing.

AMS-compatible, moisture- & filter-free

Comes vacuum-sealed and neatly spooled. Compatible with Bambu AMS systems. Low moisture absorption (0.11% at 70% RH, 23°C) ensures reliable print quality, even in humid environments.

  • Hardened nozzle
  • Annealing after printing
  • You may need a filament dryer depending on the humidity in your environment. Store dry when not in use.

Printing Settings

  • Print Temperature: 310–350°C
  • Build Plate Temperature: 80–90°C
  • Print Speed: Up to 250 mm/s
  • Fan: OFF
  • Nozzle: Hardened steel recommended
  • Retraction Distance (Direct Drive): 1–3 mm
  • Retraction Speed: 20–40 mm/s

Drying Settings: 100°C for 10 hours (only if the material has absorbed moisture).

Annealing: For improved thermal performance, anneal for 10 hours at 130°C. Annealing at 230°C provides maximum heat resistance for demanding environments.

Compatible with high-temperature desktop 3D printers such as QIDI Plus4 and Bambu H2D.

Works with Bambu AMS systems. Due to the stiffness of glass fiber filament, performance may vary on other AMS-like systems depending on tube length and curvature.

For best results, use PolySupport™ for PA12 when support material is required.
