What makes it Pro?
- 25% longer lifespan
- 10% lower operating temperature
- Better scratch resistance

Say goodbye to failed prints
The SuperTack Pro coating provides extremely strong adhesion for PLA and PETG filaments – even at lower heat bed temperatures. It increases print quality by eliminating adhesion issues, reduces warping when printing large objects, and also works well on uneven or difficult surfaces.

Long-lasting performance
The SuperTack Pro coating is exceptionally durable and maintains its adhesive properties even after extensive use. This results in a longer lifespan for the build plate, reduces printing costs (less than 15% adhesion loss after 300 prints), and decreases the carbon footprint.

The test data was produced with PLA Basic filament and performed on the A1 3D printer.
Smooth and natural surface finish
The SuperTack Pro coating can give the bottom surface of the printed object a smooth and matte texture, which blends more naturally with other surfaces.

Energy efficient
The SuperTack Pro coating only requires a very low heat bed temperature to ensure printed objects adhere securely. This means you can save a significant amount of energy during heating, leading to lower electricity bills — and most importantly, helping to protect our planet.

| Heat bed temperature comparison | ||
|---|---|---|
| Material | Heat bed temperature with SuperTack | Heat bed temperature with SuperTack Pro |
| PLA | 45 °C | 40 °C |
| PETG | 70 °C | 60 °C |
How to remove prints from SuperTack Pro
Use the scraper included with your printer to gently lift the print and then carefully pry it off. If the print is too firmly attached, you can heat the plate on the heat bed to 50 °C to make removal easier.
About the build plate for H2S
The H2S version differs from the H2D version by 1 mm in length. While this largely has no impact on the actual print dimensions, it may trigger a false error during build plate detection. To ensure the best user experience, the H2S version is expected to be available in February 2026. If you need it sooner, you can purchase the H2D version and simply ignore any build plate detection warnings during use.
Important notes
-
Use the scraper included with your printer to gently lift the print and then carefully pry it off. If the print is too firmly attached, you can heat the plate on the heat bed to 50 °C to facilitate removal. The surface is soft, so be careful when using a scraper to avoid damage.
-
Since the Vortek hotend holder occupies additional space, the H2C print bed is slightly smaller than the H2D. Therefore, the H2C and H2D build plates have different sizes. Make sure to select the correct model when purchasing.
-
Do not print with TPU filament, as it will damage the build plate.
-
A higher heat bed temperature improves adhesion. Adjust the temperature according to your specific needs to achieve the most appropriate level of adhesion.
-
For the X1, P1, and A1 series, before automatic leveling, it is necessary to repeatedly rub the nozzle against the special wiping area on the build plate to completely remove any residue on the nozzle tip. The coating in this specially designed wiping area will gradually wear down over time. This is normal and does not affect print quality or nozzle lifespan.
-
The Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack Pro is considered a wear-and-tear component that degrades over time. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and not cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or cracks. Only defective plates upon receipt are covered by the warranty.
-
SuperTack Pro provides good adhesion without the use of glue or frequent cleaning. If the surface becomes very dirty, it can be cleaned with water and dish soap. Do not use organic solvents (especially acetone), as this will damage the SuperTack Pro surface.
-
Bambu PLA Silk+ is supported on the Cool Plate SuperTack Pro thanks to improved layer adhesion. However, other PLA Silk materials may cause very strong adhesion to the SuperTack Pro plate, which can damage the printed objects. Therefore, it is not recommended to print with PLA Silk materials other than Bambu PLA Silk+. Users printing with third-party PLA Silk materials should select the Generic PLA Silk preset in Bambu Studio and assess material compatibility based on specific conditions.
