CARBON FIBER FILAMENT INTRODUCTION

Carbon fiber filament is a type of functional filament where some carbon fiber powder is mixed into PLA. Carbon fiber is an extremely strong and lightweight fiber-reinforced plastic that contains carbon fibers. The alternative spelling "fibers" is common in British Commonwealth countries. CFRPs (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers) can be expensive to produce, but are commonly used where a high strength-to-weight ratio and stiffness (stiffness) are required, such as in aerospace, ship superstructures, automotive, civil engineering, sporting equipment, and a growing number of consumer and technical applications.
