Color Selection

Anycubic UV Resin User Guide

Before Use:

  1. Shake the resin bottle well to mix pigments and ingredients.

  2. Thoroughly clean the resin vat and print platform to ensure optimal light penetration at the bottom of the resin vat.

During Use:

  1. Unscrew the cap and pour resin into the resin vat according to your printer's recommendations.

  2. Select the correct print parameters in your 3D printer software and start printing.

After Printing:

  1. Use appropriate tools for post-processing: sharp knife, pliers, tweezers, gloves, and containers for cleaning.

  2. Clean the model thoroughly with ≥95% ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, or another suitable cleaning solution.

  3. Rinse the model or use an ultrasonic cleaner for best results.

  4. Preferably use Anycubic Wash & Cure machines for optimal post-processing.

  5. Remove any supports and perform further treatment such as polishing and painting.

Wastewater Management:

  • Do not discharge used resin liquid into the sewer to avoid groundwater pollution.

  • Heat the wastewater to evaporate the water, and dispose of the remaining material after curing with a curing machine or by sunlight.

Important Precautions

  1. Store uncured resin cool, dark, and at room temperature (protect from direct sunlight and high temperatures).

  2. Recommended print temperature is 18-35°C. At lower temperatures, it may be necessary to preheat the resin (not above 60°C).

  3. If pigments have settled, shake or stir the resin thoroughly before use.

  4. Remove the model quickly after cleaning to avoid prolonged soaking in liquid.

  5. After cleaning and drying, the model should be post-cured to ensure optimal mechanical properties.

  6. Control light intensity and time during post-curing for best results:

    • Use a mercury lamp or LED light source with an intensity of 5-10 mW/m² for max. 1 hour.

    • Sunlight exposure is recommended for approximately 1 hour (summer conditions).

    • Avoid prolonged exposure to strong light sources such as high-pressure lamps.

  7. Preferably print in a dark room or with the resin vat covered, as resin is photosensitive.

  8. When using highly clear resin, the curing time should be halved to avoid a yellowish tint.

  9. Black resin can become partially transparent at thicknesses under 0.5 mm – thicker walls provide a better color effect.
