Precision that works for you

Corrects mechanical deviations
Even if the printer leaves the factory with high precision, mechanical wear and small variations over time are inevitable. For the first time in the industry, the H2S offers a solution: with Vision Encoder⁽¹⁾, the printer achieves motion precision of less than 50 μm – thinner than a human hair – regardless of distance. During calibration, the system automatically compensates for mechanical drift, ensuring consistent precision and maximum performance over time.

One print. Perfect fit.
Bambu Lab’s Auto Hole/Contour Compensation⁽²⁾ minimizes print tolerances, delivering machine shop-level precision for holes and dimensions. Design parts where fit is critical with confidence—integrate shafts, bearings, and fasteners without guesswork. Subsequent assembly has never been easier.

Ready for engineering filaments
With a 350 °C nozzle and a 65 °C actively heated chamber, the H2S supports the entire Bambu filament line—from PLA and PETG to PC and PPA. With closed-loop fan control and precise temperature management, the printer minimizes warping and deformation while enhancing layer adhesion. Print large, high-performance parts that are both functional and strong.

Smooth surfaces, sharp edges

The H2S uses both the servo motor sensors on the extruder and high-resolution eddy current sensors on the nozzle to precisely control extrusion. By measuring nozzle pressure and calibrating PA parameters for each filament, both surface smoothness and edge sharpness are improved.

Precision in motion

Active Vibration Compensation neutralizes micro-vibrations and resonance in real-time, enabling first-class print quality even at higher speeds.

Intelligence that has your back

20,000 checks per second
Closed-loop feedback, real-time control
Bambu Lab’s proprietary PMSM servo system enables 20 kHz sampling of resistance and position to dynamically modulate electromagnetic torque vectors. It stabilizes extrusion and actively detects grinding⁽³⁾ or clogs in real time.

23 sensors + 3 cameras
Every potential risk has its own detector

Vision system
With AI-powered real-time monitoring, the vision system detects clumping, “spaghetti,” and purging channel jams the moment they occur, helping to prevent failed prints before they even start. The same vision system powers advanced features like Live Spatial Alignment, enabling precise laser and cutting calibration, and Vision Encoder technology, which enhances positional accuracy.

Feeding
Sensors in the filament path work together to monitor feeding speed and position, detect filament tangles and grinding risks, track filament consumption and spool usage, and ensure tool readiness across AMS, buffer, cutter, and feeding paths. This ensures that every tool is in place and every movement is under control.

Thermal management
Five NTC temperature sensors are strategically placed at the nozzle, heated bed, and in the chamber. Together with integrated airflow sensors, the system actively monitors and adjusts internal temperatures and air circulation, maintaining the ideal printing environment via real-time feedback control.

Safety
The H2S is equipped with five flame sensors, front door and top cover sensors, and an emergency stop button, forming a complete safety system. It detects fire hazards, monitors enclosure alignment, and enables immediate shutdown as needed—ensuring your projects and workspace are always protected.

AI-based pre-flight checklist
Before each operating cycle, the H2S vision system initiates a comprehensive pre-flight checklist:
Chamber integrity scan – detects debris and foreign objects across the entire print surface.
Hardware configuration check – instantly identifies build plate properties.

Flap-controlled airflow and filtration system
3D printing and laser cutting. 3 modes, all-in-one

High-temperature printing
The chamber is sealed. Internal air recirculates through the air filter and heater to stabilize high-temperature conditions. Print large technical parts without deformation.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Does H2S support laser and cutting functions?
It supports 10W laser and cutting, but does not support 40W laser.

  2. Can an H2S without laser be upgraded to a laser H2S?
Yes. The upgrade kit and installation guide will be available some time after product launch. Please note that the upgrade kit uses an external air pump, which differs in installation structure from the built-in air pump. It must be installed externally and connected to the machine via an air hose. The upgraded printer will have the same functionality and processing performance as the laser version.

  3. Can H2S be upgraded to an H2D?
No. It is recommended to choose the model that suits your needs when ordering.

  4. Is H2S compatible with first-generation AMS or AMS lite?
First-generation AMS is fully plug-and-play compatible with H2S for multi-color printing, but does not support AMS drying. Due to fundamental differences in the feeding mechanism and buffer structure, H2S does not support AMS lite.

  5. How many AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT units does H2S support, and how many colors can it print?
H2S supports up to 4 AMS 2 Pro and 8 AMS HT units, totaling 12 units with 24 filament slots, enabling up to 24-color printing.

  6. Are the hotend and silicone sock on H2S compatible with H2D or A1?
The H2S hotend and silicone sock are compatible with H2D. Although they are structurally similar to the A1 hotend, they are not fully compatible. For optimal print quality, we strongly recommend not using the A1 hotend on H2 series printers. It is possible to use an H2 series hotend on an A1 printer, but it requires the H2 series silicone sock.

    Yes, they are compatible.

  9. Does H2S support motion accuracy calibration, and is the calibration plate from my previously purchased H2D compatible?
It supports motion accuracy calibration, and the H2D calibration plate is compatible.

  10. The AMS 2 Pro connects via a 6-pin connector. What are the two remaining 4-pin connectors on the back of the H2S used for?
The two 4-pin ports on the back are reserved for future expansion accessories. For example, one of these ports can be used to connect an external air pump when upgrading from a non-laser version to a laser version.

  11. Does H2S come with a USB drive, and what functions are affected without one? What are the USB requirements?
The package does not include a standard USB flash drive. You can still initiate prints normally without USB, as the printer has built-in storage to run print files. However, without an inserted USB drive, the following functions will be affected:
    a. Recording and timelapse photography cannot be activated.
    b. Prints cannot be started via LAN.
    c. Print files cannot be sent to the machine for storage via Bambu Studio.
    d. Log files cannot be exported.

USB requirements: USB 2.0 or newer (actual minimum write speed must be above 10 MB/s). Supported file systems are FAT32 and exFAT. The printer only supports mounting one USB drive and cannot connect multiple USB devices via a USB hub.

  1. What precautions or recommendations apply to printing with TPU on H2S?
Due to TPU's flexible nature, which can cause issues during feeding and printing, we have prepared a dedicated wiki guide for TPU printing. Following the guide ensures seamless TPU prints.

  2. What precautions should be taken when using the laser function?
Laser processing involves high-energy beams that can interact with flammable materials. Never leave the machine unattended during laser operation, ensure no flammable or explosive items are nearby, and refer to the Laser Safety document for detailed safety instructions.
