Engineered for Higher Flow and Faster Prints

At the core of the ObXiDian® 500 HotEnd is E3D’s innovative 4-channel internal nozzle design. This construction significantly improves heat transfer to the filament, allowing for an increase in volumetric flow rate by more than 60%. The result is more consistent extrusion at higher speeds, or the ability to raise flow limits in the slicer and fully utilize the printer's motion system.

Unlike many high-speed solutions, this HotEnd maintains strong layer bonding and excellent surface quality. You get faster prints without compromising strength or visual finish.

Exceptional Wear Resistance

With the new ObXiDian® 500 technology, the nozzle is engineered for extreme durability. It is at least five times more wear-resistant than previous ObXidian nozzles, significantly outperforming traditional hardened steel nozzles.

This makes it ideal for abrasive materials such as carbon fiber-filled, glass fiber-filled, and glow-in-the-dark filaments. While no nozzle is completely immune to wear, the ObXiDian® 500 significantly extends lifespan and reduces maintenance, downtime, and long-term costs.

Cleaner Prints, Fewer Failures

The advanced coating features very low surface energy, which prevents molten plastic from adhering to the nozzle. This reduces material buildup, simplifies cleaning, and minimizes the risk of print failures or cosmetic defects.

Easy Installation

Designed as a direct replacement, this magnetic HotEnd is quick and simple to install. The heater and thermistor are already integrated into the printhead, so upgrading simply requires removing the existing HotEnd and clicking the new one into place. No mechanical modifications or cooling adjustments are needed.

E3D is the only officially approved manufacturer of aftermarket HotEnds for Bambu Lab. Each unit is developed in collaboration with Bambu Lab and fully licensed for use with H2D, H2C, H2S, and P2S printers, ensuring compatibility and reliability.
