Introducing the original Prusa MINI enclosure: Modular box for your MINI 3D printer.

Original Prusa MINI enclosure makes printing from certain materials easier, while adding a lot of other benefits. The enclosure can be equipped with useful add-ons for increased safety and user experience, such as the Advanced Filtration System (HEPA filter, 99.9% efficiency), which helps reduce odors from certain materials and prevents the spread of ultrafine particles (UFPS) into the air. You can also install an LED Strip to illuminate the printing area, a mechanical lock to ensure proper printer security in public spaces, a fire extinguishing system, and various free add-ons that you can download from Printables.com.

Everything is included in the package including plastic parts, you don't need to print anything yourself. The only exception is the orange handles (seen in some pictures). A 3D printer is not part of the package.

Main Features

Print advanced materials

The enclosure creates a stable printing environment with elevated temperatures, protecting the printer from drafts and cold air. This is perfect for printing demanding high-temperature materials that are otherwise prone to warping - such as PC Blend, Nylon, PP and more. It also prevents dust build-up on moving parts, helping to keep the printer running smoothly and reducing the frequency of maintenance required.

Security features

Install an optional lock to prevent unauthorized access to your 3D printer - an ideal solution for schools, hackerspaces and other public places. An optional filtration system (HEPA filter, 99.9% efficiency) prevents the spread of ultrafine particles (UFPS) and reduces odors when printing from certain materials. The MINI enclosure also lowers printer noise and covers all moving parts of your printer, increasing its safety.

Can be upgraded and expanded

The case can be upgraded and expanded with official add-ons (both paid and free) and is also ready for your DIY projects. You can design your own brackets, holders and other accessories to tailor the case exactly to your needs or download ready-made ones on Printables.com.

The basic package includes: All components required to build the enclosure (frame parts, transparent side panels, top and bottom panels, mounting hardware, printer frame brackets), temperature sensor, and documentation. Handles and optional 3D printed accessories seen in some images are not included in the package.

Advanced filtration system

The filtration system is useful when printing materials like PC Blend and other materials that produce odors and particles during printing.

White LED Strip

You can install an optional white LED strip in the cabinet to illuminate your 3D printer. The strip is powered by a separate PSU, which is automatically added to your order.

Mechanical lock

A standard mechanical lock that fits into the cabinet door, allowing you to keep your 3D printer securely locked away. It's a great option for schools, universities, hackerspaces, and other institutions and businesses.

BlazeCut fire suppression system

A self-contained tube-style fire extinguishing system. The system is manufactured in Europe and uses an extremely effective, clean and safe extinguishing agent. The system operates automatically and independently of any power supply by detecting higher temperatures. Please note that due to shipping restrictions and costs, delivery from Prusa is only available to addresses within the EU. For US customers, we recommend ordering from our partner Printed Solid.
