Original Prusa XL Single-Tool to Five-Head Upgrade
The Original Prusa XL is designed with easy upgrades in mind. Install one of the upgrade packages to increase the number of available tool heads and expand your 3D printing capabilities.
With a tool changer in place and multiple tool heads, you can pre-load different filaments and combine them in a single print. With smart object designs, you can minimize the number of supports and even print without any waste at all – no wipe tower, no filament scraps around the printer. Say goodbye to plastic waste heavier than the primary printed object!
The combination of multiple filaments allows you to save valuable material – for example, you can print the main object from PCCF filament and the supports from PLA, which yields significant cost savings!
