SUNLU PVB Filament – Magical Effects with Minimal Post-Processing

SUNLU PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) filament allows you to create smooth, glossy surfaces with minimal effort. After printing, the model can be easily treated with isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99%) – spray, wipe, or dip in alcohol – which easily dissolves the outer layer, leaving a smooth, almost glass-like finish. Say goodbye to visible layer lines!

Consistent Quality & Reliable Printing
Each roll of SUNLU PVB 1.75mm filament is produced with strict quality control for diameter (+/- 0.02 mm), melting point, and other key parameters. The result is consistent quality, excellent adhesion to the print bed, consistent color, and minimal risk of warping, filament jams, clumping, or layer separation.

Excellent Mechanical Properties
PVB filament has strong mechanical properties, making it suitable for functional parts reminiscent of injection-molded components. The smoothness of the surface depends on the alcohol treatment, giving you the flexibility to achieve exactly the look you desire.

Practical & Tight Packaging
The filament is carefully wound to prevent tangling, dried, and vacuum-packed in a resealable bag with desiccant. Since PVB easily absorbs moisture, it is recommended to use a filament dryer (e.g., SUNLU S1PLUS, S2, or S4) for optimal print quality.

Wide Application & Good Compatibility
SUNLU PVB filament can be used for functional parts, artwork, decoration, jigs and fixtures, and even as lost casting material. It is compatible with most FDM 3D printers, including Bambulab X1/P1P/A1 series, Creality Ender 3, K2, Anycubic, Qidi, Flashforge, and many more.
