Instructions for use for Resin
(1) Before use:
Shake the resin bottle thoroughly before use. Clean the resin container and build platform to ensure that the bottom of the resin container is free of debris and ensures optimal light transmission.
(2) During use:
Unscrew the lid and pour resin into the resin container according to the printer's recommendations. Select the correct print parameters and settings for optimal printing.
(3) After use:
After printing, use the recommended post-processing tools, including knife, diagonal pliers, tweezers, containers, and gloves. Clean the model with ethanol (≥95%), lactate, or isopropyl alcohol.
(4) Post-processing process:
A. Remove the printed model from the build platform with a knife.
B. Submerge the model in the cleaning solution, rinse or ultrasonically clean, pick up the model and let it drip off. We recommend using ANYCUBIC Wash & Cure machines for best results.
C. Perform proper post-processing such as support removal, polishing, and staining.
(5) Wastewater management:
A. Do not discharge wastewater directly into the sewer to avoid groundwater contamination.
B. Heat the wastewater so that most of the water evaporates, and then dispose of the residual material after curing in a curing machine or under sunlight.
Precautions
-
Store uncured resin in a cool, dark place at room temperature, and protect from direct light and high temperatures.
-
Recommended printing temperature: 18-35°C. At low temperatures, print quality may be affected and resin may need to be preheated (max. 60°C) before use.
-
If the pigment in the resin settles, it can be reused after shaking or stirring.
-
To maintain the performance of the resin, the model must be removed promptly after cleaning to avoid prolonged immersion in cleaning fluid, which may degrade quality.
-
To ensure the mechanical properties of the model, it is recommended to perform post-curing after cleaning and drying.
-
Post-curing requires control of light source intensity and time. Recommended steps:
-
Use a mercury lamp or LED light source with an intensity of 5-10 mW/m² for a maximum of 1 hour (self-regulation).
-
Sunlight (in summer) approx. 1 hour exposure.
-
Avoid close or prolonged exposure to strong light sources such as high-pressure mercury lamps.
-
Preferably print in a dark room or with a lid on, as resin is a photosensitive material.
-
To avoid yellowing during prolonged curing of High Clear Resin, reduce the exposure time to half compared to other resin colors.
-
Black resin can be partially transparent with thin walls (<0.5 mm); thicker walls give better color effect.
-
Note: Material properties may vary depending on printer, post-curing method and testing equipment. For safety information, please refer to the product MSDS. Please contact us if you experience any problems during use.
