Anycubic Water-Wash Resin 2.0

Anycubic Water-Wash Resin 2.0 is designed for manufacturers who want good print results without having to use harsh chemicals for cleanup. It is compatible with most LCD 3D printers and provides detailed prints with improved toughness and less odor compared to previous versions.

Key Features

  • Easily washes off with water
  • Low odor during printing
  • Improved toughness and durability
  • Sharper details with less shrinkage
  • Works with most LCD 3D printers (365-405 nm)
  • Fast curing under UV light

Water-Washable and Budget-Friendly

Developed with a hydrophilic formulation that redefines post-processing. Effectively remove excess resin using only water – no isopropyl alcohol (IPA) needed. Achieve a safer, more cost-effective, and environmentally friendly workflow that simplifies cleaning without compromising on quality.

Resistant to breakage

16.62% elongation at break ensures high toughness after curing, providing durable models that are resistant to breaks and cracks.

Easy Cleaning, No Solvents Needed

This resin is designed to be washed with ordinary tap water - no alcohol or cleaning agents required. It's a cleaner and more practical solution, especially for home use or shared spaces.

Better Mechanical Performance

Compared to previous versions, Water-Wash Resin 2.0 has better toughness, which helps prevent cracks or breaks in finished prints. It also has more balanced mechanical properties, making it suitable for both decorative and functional parts.

Low Shrinkage and High Precision
Achieve exceptional surface details with a precision of 0.15 mm. This level of control meets the extreme demands of detailed miniature models and allows for printing complex elements with flawless accuracy – every time.

Resistant to cracking over time
With an optimized hydrophilic formula that significantly reduces water absorption and prevents cracking, your models retain their vibrant colors and structural integrity during long-term display.

Sharper prints, less shrinkage

The upgraded formula reduces print shrinkage and improves detail reproduction, giving you sharp edges and cleaner surfaces, even on complex models.

Consistent results and high efficiency
Anycubic Water-Washable Resin 2.0 maintains a low viscosity even at 15–20 °C, ensuring smooth flow and stable adhesion to the build plate. This provides stable print quality and a high success rate – even in unheated or cool environments.

Minimal odor and environmentally friendly
A fresher and more pleasant printing experience.

Wide Compatibility
Compatible with all LCD/DLP printers using 405 nm UV curing technology, and works optimally with Anycubic's LCD printers.

Tips for Use

Although the resin is water-washable, it is still important to cure prints properly and dispose of used resin and rinse water according to local regulations. Always wear gloves when handling uncured resin.

Instructions for Use

1. Before Use

  • Shake the liquid resin thoroughly

  • Clean the resin tank and build plate

  • Ensure the bottom of the tank remains completely transparent

  • Check that the release film is undamaged

  • Confirm correct print settings

  • Recommended printing environment: 20–35 °C (to avoid temperature-related errors)

2. During Use

  • Unscrew the bottle cap and remove the sealing film

  • Pour resin into the tank without exceeding the max mark

3. After Printing
Use the provided tools for post-processing:

  • Scraper

  • Flush cutters

  • Tweezers

  • Gloves

  • ≥95% IPA cleaning solution

4. Post-processing
A. Remove models from the build plate with a scraper and remove supports
B. Clean models in an Anycubic Wash & Cure machine for approx. 10 minutes (use ≥95% alcohol or suitable cleaning agent)
C. Dry models: Air dry, use compressed air/hair dryer, or drying chamber (prevents water absorption/cracks)
D. Secondary curing: Cure models for 3–5 minutes
E. Resin reuse: Filter through a 100-mesh sieve

5. Wastewater Disposal
A. Never pour cleaning wastewater directly into the drain to avoid groundwater contamination.
B. Allow used wastewater to settle in the container. Place it in sunlight until the resin is fully cured, then dispose of it as solid plastic waste for recycling to avoid environmental pollution.

Note

Storage and Safety

  • Store at room temperature and protected from light

  • Recommended operating temperature: >20 °C (low temperatures reduce success rate; high temperatures accelerate pigment precipitation)

  • If pigment precipitates: Stir with a plastic scraper or shake the resin bottle

  • Resin cures in sunlight: Print in a dim, ventilated area or cover the printer

  • Remove models immediately after washing to avoid degradation of material properties

  • Always wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses (avoid contact with skin and eyes)

  • Disposal: Cure the resin completely before discarding as solid waste

  • Ensure good ventilation; keep liquid resin away from pregnant women, children, and pets

Notes

  • Material properties may vary depending on: Printing equipment, post-curing methods and testing equipment
