Product overview

Melt extrusion 3D printers emit VOC (volatile organic compounds) gases during printing, especially at high temperatures such as when using ABS, PC and PA. Lower melting point materials, such as PLA, emit significantly fewer VOCs. Our activated carbon filter is designed to effectively absorb these harmful gases during the printing process.

Replacement instructions

The X1-Carbon is equipped with a carbon filter that filters the air from the printer's cabinet before it is discharged. To replace the filter:

1. Remove the plastic cover that covers the filter

2. Gently pull the carbon filter to remove it.

3. Insert the new carbon filter

4. Reinstall the plastic cover.
