Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro Feeder Unit
Overview
The AMS 2 Pro feeder unit is specifically designed to support the AMS 2 Pro in multi-color and multi-material printing. Ceramic-reinforced, wear-resistant bushings are embedded in each feeder input to better protect the input from filament wear during prolonged use.
Each AMS 2 Pro has 4 feeder units, and each feeder unit has its own motor and gears, which actively push the filament forward or roll it back onto the spool.
The AMS 2 Pro feeder unit has a sensor for filament detection. When a filament is inserted, the feeder unit will automatically feed the filament. When the filament needs to be rolled back, the feeder unit drives the AMS 2 Pro's active support shaft, causing the spool to rotate and wind up the filament.
