Bamboo PETG-CF

Bambu PETG-CF significantly improves the stiffness of regular PETG while increasing both strength and toughness, making it a versatile filament with excellent mechanical properties, perfect for load-bearing and functional parts. The new formula also greatly reduces clumping and wire pulling compared to regular PETG. It delivers a distinctive carbon-fiber texture with a glossier finish than Bambu PLA-CF.

Improved strength and stiffness

With the addition of carbon fiber, Bambu PETG-CF overcomes the low stiffness of regular PETG and delivers improved strength and toughness, making it a solid choice for structural and load-bearing parts.

Ready for outdoor use

Thanks to its improved resistance to heat and moisture, Bambu PETG-CF is ideal for outdoor applications. You can confidently make durable tools for the garden or other outdoor environments.

If you want, I can also help with a more technical, more marketing-oriented or more concise version.

Carbon fiber finish with a more glossy look

Bambu PETG-CF has a carbon fiber texture that hides layer lines while providing a glossier surface than PLA-CF, making the material as attractive as it is functional.

RFID for intelligent printing

All printing parameters are encoded in the RFID, which can be read via our AMS (Automatic Material System).

Just load and print! No more time-consuming setup steps.

Printing tips

  1. Drying required: Bambu PETG-CF must be dried properly before printing.

    • In a blast oven: 65°C for 8 hours

    • In AMS 2 Pro or AMS HT: 65°C for 8 hours

    • On the X1 printer heatbed: 75–85°C for 12 hours
Keep the filament dry after use. See more details at: Filament drying instructions on WIKI.

  2. Nozzle Recommendation: Due to the carbon fiber addition, PETG-CF requires a more durable hardened steel nozzle. A 0.4 mm nozzle can be used, but a 0.6 mm nozzle is recommended to further reduce the risk of clogging.

  3. Z-axis strength: For better layer adhesion on the Z-axis, increase the infill density. Avoid open frame printers and do not set the cooling fan too high as overcooling can weaken the layer bond.

  4. Surface finish: For a shinier result, use lower print speeds and a slightly higher nozzle temperature.

  5. Refill Instructions: The refill filament must be used with a spool. For detailed instructions on how to change the filament with the Bambu Reusable Spool, see the guide on WIKI .
