These high-quality 3D printing nozzles are designed specifically for use with Prusa's latest extruder - the Nextruder. They are compatible with Prusa's MK4, MK4S, XL, and CORE ONE 3D printers, and feature an all-metal filament guide, meaning the Nextruder's filament path is entirely metal. This helps improve the printer's overall reliability and allows for faster nozzle changes.

How does this work?
Unlike our previous E3D High Flow Hotends (Volcano and SuperVolcano), E3D Prusa High Flow ObXidian nozzles retain the exact same form factor as the standard E3D Prusa ObXidian nozzle; this means there's no need to adjust your existing mounting and fan ducts! The E3D Prusa High Flow Brass nozzle uses a unique customized internal geometry to increase the surface area for improved thermal transfer to the filament.
With wear resistance greater than any other E3D Nozzle, ObXidian is truly tough, making it the perfect nozzle for printing abrasive/filled polymers. This is achieved by pairing a tool steel insert with our new E3DLC™ coating. This specially formulated coating also embeds non-stick properties into the nozzle itself, meaning significantly less plastic buildup around the nozzle.

ObXidian™ coated nozzles are exceptionally wear-resistant compared to other products on the market and significantly outperform other hardened nozzles. Improvements in 'exotic' technical filaments mean that some new materials, which include aggressive fillers, including but not limited to Polymaker's PolyMide series (PA612-CF, PA6-CF, PA6-GF, and PA12-CF), can cause significant wear on even ObXidian nozzles.
