The SuperTack coating provides ultra-strong adhesion to PLA and PETG filaments, even at lower heatbed temperatures. It increases print reliability by eliminating adhesion issues, reduces warping when printing large objects, and works well on uneven surfaces.
Eliminating adhesion problems
Reduces warping when printing large objects
Long-lasting performance The SuperTack coating is durable and retains its adhesive properties even after extensive use. This gives the PCB a longer life, reduces printing costs (less than 20% loss of adhesion after 300 prints) and lowers CO₂ emissions.
*Test data was produced with PLA Basic filament and executed on the A1 3D printer.
Smooth and natural surface finish The SuperTack coating can give the bottom surface of the printed object a smooth and matte texture that blends better with other surfaces.
Energy saving The SuperTack coating only requires an extremely low heat plate temperature to ensure that printed objects adhere securely. This means you can save a significant amount of energy during heating, leading to lower electricity bills and – more importantly – helping to protect our planet.

How to remove prints from SuperTack
(The instructions below will show you how to remove prints without damaging the coating)
Use the included scraper to gently lift the print and pry it off. If the print is too stuck, you can heat the plate on the hotplate to 50°C to make removal easier.
Notes
The surface is soft. Be careful when using a scraper to remove printed parts.
DO NOT print with TPU filament as it will damage the build plate.
Increasing the hotplate temperature improves adhesion. Users should adjust the hotplate temperature based on their specific needs to achieve the most suitable level of adhesion.
Before auto-leveling, it is necessary to repeatedly rub the nozzle in the specially designed drain area on the build plate to completely remove any residual material from the nozzle tip. The coating in the drain area will gradually wear down over time. This is normal and does not affect print quality or nozzle life, so there is no need to worry.
Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack is considered a consumable item that will degrade over time. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects – not cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents or cracks. Only plates that are defective upon receipt are covered by the warranty.
SuperTack provides good adhesion without the use of adhesives or frequent cleaning. You can clean the surface with water and detergent if heavy soiling occurs. DO NOT use organic solvents (especially acetone) to clean the build plate as this will damage the SuperTack surface.
Bambu PLA Silk material exhibits strong adhesion to the SuperTack build plate, which may damage the printed models. Therefore, we do not recommend using Bambu PLA Silk material on the SuperTack build plate. For users printing with third-party PLA Silk materials, the Generic PLA Silk setting should be selected in Bambu Studio and the material compatibility should be assessed based on the specific conditions.
Installation Guide for X1 Series / P1 Series / A1
