The brand new double-sided printed circuit boards give you amazing options for adding details to your 3D prints.
All the plates have one side that is PEI sprayed, so you get the same surface as the printer originally has.
The other sides have either PET, PEO or PEI surfaces.
How is a PEO/PET/PEI sheet used?
-
Make sure the build plate is level (adjust the distance between the nozzle and the heating plate to approximately A4 paper thickness).
- We recommend the following printing temperatures:
- PLA: 60°C
- PETG: 70-80°C
- ABS: 90-100°C
-
Start printing on PET and PEO sheets . The temperature of the heating plate can be set to 40°C-80°C depending on the actual situation (PEO/PET must not exceed 80°C).
-
- The PEI sheet can work at 160°C-180°C for a long time, but must not exceed 200°C.
-
Remove the plate and bend it slightly so you can easily remove the model.
What are the differences between the PET/PEO and PEY surfaces?
PET:
The advantage of printing on a PET plate is that the print adheres extremely well, even though the plate is smooth. This allows you to achieve a Carbon look on the side of your print that faces the plate.

The PET sheet works with PLA/PETG.
PEO:
When you print on a PEO surface, you get the same good properties as on a PET plate. The big difference comes in the structure the 3D print gets on the side that is attached to the plate.
With the PEO plate you get a star-like pattern:
The surface is smooth and gives a nice result on the finished 3D print.

The PEO plate works with PLA/PETG
PEY:
With a PEY plate you get something completely unique!
The surface is smooth and has a star pattern that is transferred to the underside of the 3D print.
This is especially great if you are printing large surfaces, letters, house numbers or anything else where you would like a special finish to your 3D print.

The PEY plate works with PLA/PETG/TPU
The plates are supplied without the magnetic base, so they can only be used on printers that are supplied with a PEI sheet from the start.
NOTE: Kobra 2 Pro has a PEI plate of 23x23 cm, which means that a 22x22 PEI plate will not go all the way to the edge, this does not mean anything to the printer as long as you do not print to the edge.
