Magigoo PRO PA - The 3D printing adhesive
Magigoo Pro PA is a special glue designed for printing with nylon and polyamide based filaments, including glass and carbon fiber reinforced types. It ensures strong adhesion at high bed temperatures and easy “pop-off” removal when the bed has cooled – completely without tools. Ideal for minimizing warping when printing technical PA parts.
Important features
- Formulated for PA6, PA12, PA66 and fiber-reinforced PA
- Strong adhesion at elevated bed temperatures
- Easy “pop-off” release after cooling – no scraping
- Water-based, odorless and easy to clean
- Minimizes warping in large or technical parts
- Pen-shaped applicator for precise and clean use
Strong, tailored adhesion to polyamide filament
Magigoo Pro PA is designed to overcome the challenges of printing with PA, which naturally has poor adhesion to the build plate and a high tendency to warp. It has been tested on PA6, PA12, PA66 and their reinforced variants and provides reliable first-layer adhesion at high temperatures.
Easy release when cooled
When the build plate cools to approximately 40°C, the adhesive bond weakens significantly. The print releases easily with light pressure—no putty or tools required—on surfaces such as glass, PEI, Kapton, or flexible steel surfaces.
User-friendly and environmentally friendly
The water-based, non-toxic formula is odorless and safe to use. It cleans up easily with a damp cloth or water, and the pen format ensures precise and clean application—perfect for both hobby and professional use.
Optimized for technical nylon printing
This adhesive has been tested with over 100 nylon-based materials, including brands such as BASF PAHT CF15, DuPont Zytel, and Owens Corning XSTRAND GF30-PA, ensuring smooth prints, fewer defects, and consistent adhesion.
Recommended method of application
-
Shake well before use to mix contents.
-
Apply a thin, even layer to a clean, cold build plate by lightly pressing with the pen.
-
Heat the plate according to the filament specifications and begin printing.
Let the plate cool after printing—the part will release automatically.
For large models, a 20 mm edge is recommended for maximum adhesion. -
Clean the surface with a damp cloth after use or rinse with water as needed.
