Magigoo PRO PC - The 3D printing adhesive for Polycarbonate

Magigoo Pro PC is designed to work exclusively with polycarbonate (PC) filaments. This professional adhesive ensures that the print adheres while the build plate is hot and that the part can be easily removed when it has cooled. This unique and innovative mechanism means that no tools are needed to remove the print from the plate – it releases completely on its own when the plate cools down.

Why Magigoo Pro PC?

The strength and toughness of PC make it ideal for FDM printing of functional prototypes as well as finished components. However, the material presents certain challenges in 3D printing. Pure (virgin) PC has a high glass transition temperature (Tg) and can therefore be used for high-temperature applications. However, the high Tg makes it difficult to print with on standard desktop printers, as these are usually unable to reach the high temperatures required to print pure PC correctly. In fact, pure PC tends to warp significantly when printed at too low a platen temperature (<130 ºC), in open or unheated printer chambers, and without the use of a suitable adhesive.

Magigoo Pro PC can be used on glass or a variety of other surfaces. Use on plastic-based sheets is recommended as it ensures strong adhesion and prevents the workpiece from melting to the sheet.
