  2. Direct printing from the Drybox : The box allows for both storage and direct printing. This is essential for maintaining low filament moisture levels during printing, which is essential for high-quality output, especially when using sensitive materials.
  3. Important for high-performance polymers: Without this box, printing certain materials is practically impossible. This is especially true for high-performance polymers such as PEI, PEEK, PEKK or PSU, which require precisely controlled conditions.
  4. Integrated humidity and temperature measurement: For maximum control over internal conditions, the box is equipped with sensors to measure humidity and temperature.
  5. Built-in drying solution: The Prusa Filament Drybox has a system to maintain and reduce humidity using silica gel. This material actively absorbs moisture from the environment inside the box and helps keep the filament dry.

The Drybox can hold up to 1 kg of spools

For optimal performance, and in some cases even necessity, it is recommended to pre-dry the filament appropriately in a professional filament dryer before placing it in the Drybox for the first time. This ensures that the filament is in ideal condition for printing.
