Bamboo PC FR
Bambu PC FR is a high-performance polycarbonate developed for demanding applications that require excellent flame retardancy, impact resistance and heat resistance. With exceptional durability, Bambu PC FR excels in a wide range of professional applications including industrial components, protective cases and high temperature environments in the automotive, electronics and manufacturing industries.
First-class flame retardancy
Tested to meet UL 94-2023 V-0 standard, the highest flame retardant rating for 3D printing filament, Bambu PC FR is designed to prevent or inhibit flame spread with exceptional self-extinguishing properties. Ideal for critical applications in electronics, automotive and mechanical engineering.
UL 94 is a plastic flammability standard established by Underwriters Laboratories (USA). V-0—the highest UL 94 V rating—means that combustion stops within 10 seconds on a vertically placed sample, and dripping particles are permitted as long as they do not ignite.

Engineering-grade mechanical properties
Bambu PC FR is an engineering material with toughness comparable to PAHT-CF. Its exceptional stiffness and strength make it an obvious choice for structural components and protective cases.

Printing tips
Drying conditions:
Dry before use for higher print quality. PC FR should be dried before use and kept free of moisture during the printing process. Store in a dry environment, e.g. an airtight storage container with desiccant, after use. For more details, see: Printing tips for Engineering materials on WIKI.
-
In a blast drying oven: 80 °C for 8 hours
-
On the X1 printer's heatbed: 90–100°C for 12 hours
Security:
The nozzle temperature should be between 260–280 °C and the heated bed temperature should be between 90–110 °C. Ensure safety while printing.
