Bambu PLA Silk Multi-Color is available in two different variants: PLA Silk Dual Color and PLA Silk Gradient .
PLA Silk Dual Color is made by combining two vibrant silk colors into a single filament strand. The color of your prints can be changed by rotating the filament in different directions.
PLA Silk Gradient contains 2 to 4 soft, flowing color transitions per spool, creating elegant multi-color effects in a single print.

Printing tips
• Although PLA Silk Multi-Color is thoroughly dried and vacuum sealed before shipping, variations during shipping can affect moisture content. It is strongly recommended to dry the filament immediately after opening and store it in a sealed container with desiccant or in AMS. Repeat drying and moisture protection before each extended storage period.
• Drying conditions: 55°C for 8 hours. Store in a dry environment after use. Dry the material before use if it has absorbed moisture. For more details, refer to: Filament drying guide on WIKI .
• It is strongly recommended to reduce the speed on outer walls to 40 mm/s to optimize print quality.
• When printing with PLA Silk Dual Color, in rare cases, filament rotation may occur, which can cause uneven color transitions. A-series printers are at higher risk due to their special construction, and use of this filament with A-series printers is therefore not recommended.
Gradient effects
• The gradient effect depends on the amount of filament used, which can be influenced by adjusting sparse infill density, number of prints, or the starting point on the filament spool.
• Each color segment in Bambu PLA Silk Gradient spans approximately 20 m (65 g+) .
• Using 40 m (125 g+) filament ensures at least one two-tone transition.
• For four-color transitions (e.g. Bambu PLA Gradient – Dawn Radiance ), using 80 m (250 g+) or more ensures the full effect.
