SUNLU ABS Flame Retardant (ABS-FR) Filament
SUNLU ABS-FR is a flame-retardant technical filament certified to UL94 V-0, providing reliable self-extinguishing performance for fire-safe applications. It combines high impact strength, excellent durability, and stable, warp-free printing with reliable heat resistance up to 86.5°C – making it ideal for electronics housings, automotive components, and industrial parts where both safety and strength are critical.

With a heat deflection temperature of up to 86.5°C, this filament maintains rigidity and structural reliability even under continuous high temperatures – equivalent to the thermal performance of standard SUNLU ABS.


Developed for extreme durability, SUNLU ABS-FR achieves an impressive impact strength of up to 14 kJ/m² and can easily withstand drops and collisions. Perfect for parts exposed to heavy use – such as drone frames, machine housings, or tool handles.


Optimized Printing Parameters
For best results, a nozzle temperature of 240–260°C, a platform temperature of 80–90°C, and printing speeds between 50–200 mm/s are recommended. The filament should be dried before use and printed in a ventilated or enclosed environment for maximum quality and consistency.

Recommended for enclosed 3D printers – ABS filament achieves the best results in an enclosed 3D printer where a stable temperature can be maintained, minimizing the risk of warping and ensuring optimal print quality. Suitable for printers such as Prusa Core One, Anycubic Kobra S1 Combo, Creality K2 Plus, Bambu Lab P-series and X-series (and other similar printers).
Broad Application and Fire Safety
Suitable for electrical enclosures, fuse boxes, drone motor mounts, and other heat-exposed components. Also ideal for precise parts such as cable glands, switch frames, and server components with high fire safety requirements.
