Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro Switching Adapter

Overview

If you need to dry filaments in more than one AMS 2 Pro simultaneously, you will need the official Bambu Lab Switching Adapter to power the additional AMS 2 Pro(s).

If an X1, P1, or A1 series printer is used with AMS 2 Pro and utilizes the drying function, each AMS 2 Pro requires an official Bambu Lab Switching Adapter for power supply.

For H2 Series & P2S Printer

1. Connecting a single AMS 2 Pro:

• A single AMS 2 Pro can be powered and dried directly through the printer – no additional Switching Adapter is required.

2. Connecting multiple AMS 2 Pro units:

• If the drying function is activated on multiple units, each AMS 2 Pro requires its own Switching Adapter.

• Even if only one unit is drying, the system's power may be automatically reduced, which can lead to insufficient drying. It is recommended to use a power adapter to ensure optimal drying performance.

For X1/P1 Series

1. Requirements when using the drying function:

• A power adapter must be used when activating the drying function to ensure sufficient power.

2. Connecting multiple AMS 2 Pro units:

• If the drying function is activated on multiple units, each AMS 2 Pro requires its own Switching Adapter.

3. Use without drying function:

• The Switching Adapter can be omitted if the drying function is not used.

Note:

AMS 2 Pro is compatible with X1/P1 series printers for multi-material printing.
