Instructions for Resin Use
(1) Before Use:
Shake the resin bottle thoroughly before use. Clean the resin vat and build plate to ensure the bottom of the resin vat is free of debris and allows for optimal light transmission.
(2) During Use:
Unscrew the cap and pour resin into the resin vat according to the printer's recommendations. Select the correct print parameters and settings for optimal printing.
(3) After Use:
After printing, use the recommended tools for post-processing, including a knife, diagonal cutters, tweezers, containers, and gloves. Clean the model with ethanol (≥95%), lactate, or isopropyl alcohol.
(4) Post-Processing Procedure:
A. Remove the printed model from the build plate with a knife.
B. Submerge the model in cleaning fluid, rinse or ultrasonically clean, remove the model, and let it drip dry. We recommend using ANYCUBIC Wash & Cure machines for best results.
C. Perform proper post-processing such as support removal, sanding, and coloring.
(5) Wastewater Management:
A. Do not discharge wastewater directly into the sewer to prevent groundwater pollution.
B. Heat the wastewater to evaporate most of the water, then dispose of the residual material after curing in a curing machine or under sunlight.
Precautions
-
Store uncured resin cool and dark at room temperature, protected from direct light and high temperatures.
-
Recommended printing temperature: 18-35°C. At low temperatures, print quality may be affected, and resin can be preheated (max. 60°C) before use.
-
If the pigment in the resin settles, it can be reused after shaking or stirring.
-
To maintain resin performance, the model should be removed promptly after cleaning to avoid prolonged immersion in cleaning fluid, which can degrade quality.
-
To ensure the mechanical properties of the model, post-curing is recommended after cleaning and drying.
-
Post-curing requires controlling light source intensity and time. Recommended steps:
-
Use a mercury lamp or LED light source with an intensity of 5-10 mW/m² for a maximum of 1 hour (self-regulation).
-
Sunlight (in summer) about 1 hour of exposure.
-
Avoid close or prolonged exposure to strong light sources such as high-pressure mercury lamps.
-
Preferably print in a dark room or with the lid on, as resin is a photosensitive material.
-
To prevent yellowing with prolonged curing of High Clear Resin, reduce exposure time to half compared to other resin colors.
-
Black resin can be partially transparent with thin walls (<0.5 mm); thicker walls provide better color effect.
-
Note: Material properties may vary depending on the printer, post-curing method, and testing equipment. For safety information, refer to the product's MSDS. Please contact us if you experience any issues during use.
