Bambu Lab Heatbed Unit V3 - X1 Series

Overview

The heatbed in the X1 series printer is a platform installed inside the printer chamber. It can move up and down along the Z-axis and can be heated based on the temperature set by the user. Setting an appropriate heatbed temperature can improve the model's adhesion to the build plate and prevent warping.

X1 series printers currently have both Heatbed Unit V3 and V2 as options. All printers will eventually transition to the V3 heatbed.

The Heatbed Unit V3 is more user-friendly to replace while maintaining the same functionality as the Heatbed Unit V2. This change is part of our updated production plan. Additionally, different versions of the heatbed need to match the relevant version of the AC board.

If your printer originally had a Heatbed Unit V2 and you wish to upgrade to a Heatbed Unit V3, it is important to upgrade the original AC board to the version compatible with the Heatbed Unit V3.

If your Heatbed Unit V2 is defective and needs replacement under warranty, a replacement Heatbed Unit V3 + AC Board will be provided free of charge. If your printer is out of warranty, you will need to purchase the Heatbed Unit V3, and the AC board will be provided free of charge as a one-time service.
